Louise Bourgeois was a French-born American artist who gained recognition late in her long career. Throughout her life, she created many psychologically charged abstract sculptures, drawings and prints. Third Drawer Down Studio have created this fine bone china plates in collaboration with Louise Bourgeois's studio, The Easton Foundation. The 'Blue Circles' imagery is from Louise's fabric book, Ode à l'oubli featuring collages made from fragments of her old clothing and household items. Plate is sold individually in a gift box with a postcard included.
