About Us

We are Nicola and Inge, best friends who met when we were both art students and are now working mothers with a strong sense of family and friendship. 

 

Being natives to Melbourne's inner west, it seemed only natural that we open our shop here; out of love for our neighbourhood and the artists, designers and studios that thrive in Melbourne.

Our store reflects the styles, textures and feel of products we love that have been carefully curated based on a loving criteria of beauty over trends to inject more interest and "feel good" into your life. 

New products arrive weekly from the rich depths of Australia's creatives, as well as treasures hunted on our travels. We have a penchant for Scandinavian design and stock a large range of Marimekko, whose nostalgic prints take us back to our childhood and always have us wanting more.

Sedonia is where we like to show and sell the things we love to see, touch, wear and buy. There is nothing in the shop we don't adore, and know you will too.

 

Sedonia supports the Uluru Statement from the Heart and a First Nations Voice to Parliament protected by the Constitution.

Our store acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation as the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which Sedonia is located.  We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging.
